| So for mouse I am thinking Razer Copperhead with Razer Mantis Pad. Any recommendations on keyboard, and why? I used to game on old keyboard from 486 days. I tried new ones and I found keys to be mushy, and not very responsive. |

| Modder-ator | Every keyboard is going to be a little different depending on the manufacturer and the type of key system they use. My suggestion is to try and get to a Best Buy, Circuit City, CompUSA, Staples, etc, and try the ones they have out on display. That way you can find the keyboard type that suits your preferences. |

If I had to recommend a serious gamer keyboard I'd recommend the Steelseries SteelKeys. ![]() I Like Watercooling. D-Tek Fuzion, MCP655, MCR220 | |

| G15 and G5 FTW! Lol. They're not the best in the world, but regardless, they are a very good duo. Tyreal's recommendation is very good too. G15 is just flashy and loaded with random features. - Core 2 Quad Q6600 - DFI Infinity 975X - 4GB Corsair XMS2 w/ DHX DDR2-800 - 250GB Seagate 7200.10RPM + 160GB Hitachi 5400.4RPM - ATi Radeon X1900XT 256MB - Cooler Master Centurion 5 + OCZ StealthXStream 600W - Acer 19" P191W Monitor - Logitech Z-5500 Digital + Logitech MX Revolution - Vista Ultimate x64 |

| I don't mean to put down those gaming keyboards. They are chockful of useful features. Just make sure you are going to use them. For example, the macro keys are only useful for RTS or MMO players. ![]() I Like Watercooling. D-Tek Fuzion, MCP655, MCR220 |

| i agree with the g5 and g15 for sure. the g5 is the only mouse i am comfortable using. i also have an MX518 but after the G5, (even with their similar shape) the g5 is just way more comfy ^^ |

| T-Rex | A standard Aopen keyboard does the job fine. :P Really, when all you use is WASD for moving, QEFX & C for weapon shortcuts and R for reload, I see no use for those flashy gaming keyboards. However, games being what they are, sometimes it's useful to have a keyboard with macros. |

| i have a g15, and it was cool for the first week or so. i still have it now and the lcd screen just didnt pick up steam. i was really hoping most game manufacturers would implement it into their games.. but the only game i even really care about is counterstrike. source or 1.6. and i have yet to find a working app for that screen. its even got to the point where i was about to try and make my own. as for the extra buttons on the side. they can be useful.. but i dont use them. even still.. its nice to see the processor and memory usage while in a game. that way, if memory reaches 100% you know you will benefit from more ram in that particular game. |
