Ok, about 6 months ago I bought a BFG 7600GT vid card. Well about 3 months ago it took a big sh1t on me and I had to RMA the card. Just RMA'd it through Newegg, got the new OEM card back within about a week and a half no probs.

Now here is the funny part......I never even looked in the little package that comes with the video card until today. It came with a free copy of SIN emergence!!!!

I mean, this box has been sitting around for 6 months without me even taking a look see what it contained. Doh

So, Steam is downloading the complete SIN 1, SIN 1 multiplayer, and SIN episodes Emergence now

I guess it just goes to show you, that when you purchase a new product READ ALL THE CRAP THAT COMES WITH IT!!!!!

The heck of it is, there is nothing on the box to indicate that any game even came with the card!!!

many cards come with games... my 9600XT and FX5200Ultra both did.. don't remember which ones though

That is very true, but usually they make a big thing about it on the box or at the retail site that you buy the card from.

Depends how you buy. Retail box, OEM, lite box etc etc. You can save a few bucks by getting the card and only the cables, or just the card.

Well you all ain't missin nothing!!! Its just Half Life 2 with different characters and weapons!!!

Plays the same with pretty much the same kind of puzzles and the exact same graphics!

Same thing happened to me with Rainbow 6 #3, Raven Shield. I went out and bought it for my son not knowing I had a copy here. So now we both have a copy of it and besides BF2 and COD2, he and I play that quite a bit.

Yea, its just kind of silly that I didn't read all the crap that came with the card!!!!

There is always all the "get this" and "get that" with every thing you buy now, but jeez, who would of guessed there would be a complete full free game included!!!!!
