Far Cry

I loaded the game without error.The "movie" part before game play is fine.When you start out in the belly of the ship,everything is fine.When you leave the ship,the ground graphix are white with light blue tinge.The ground and water are as one,almost impossible to tell where the water is .The trees/bushes look like they are just there on the screen.The rest of the graphix are ok though.I tried it on high and medium.What settings do I need to adjust? I would give a screen shot but don't know how to in Vista.

I don't use Vista, but I am pretty sure the Print Screen Button works the same as it does in XP, for screen shots.

I pressed prt scr,closed the game,opened paint,clicked on edit,clicked on paste,and got a nice shot of paint......lmao.I dunno how to do this $#@!.

Try using Ctrl+V to paste into paint. Also depending on the keyboard you are using, some of them have multifunction F-keys, so you will have to either lock or unlock the F-keys to use the Print Screen.

As far as your Far Cry issues go, have you installed all the game patches. I know there are several for Far Cry.

I tried it in compatability mode and all is fine...and downloaded the patches.

Good, although Far Cry is an older game it's still a lot of fun. Probably one of the better single players I have seen, and the Multiplayer is good too. Hard to find a populated server that's anything except FFA.

Far Cry is great! I still replay it from time to time. You'll love it!

I just finished that game this morning...had it since 04 and never played it.
Definitely grab the patches, I had all sorts of crazy texturing issues until I installed 1.4

I just played through Far Cry again before heading out to CES, and it was still a blast.
