Default Company of Heroes

Best RTS ever?

From a hardcore C&C fan (i have every single cnc game ever)...... yes. Company of Heroes is my favorite RTS.

It is very pc demanding, using the INSANELY complex physics engine, Havok.

Anything and everything can be destroyed. Only thing you can't do is dig forever (there's probably a couple feet of destructiveness.... ie: artillery shells do create craters that your units can gain some cover in)

If I were to write a huge ass review, I'd give it 10/10 and the Zambini's Pwnface Award.

I finished the single player campaign a couple weeks ago. The game is very fun and the missions are challenging. I like the fact that you can destroy just about anything. The game's basic gameplay is alot like Warhammer 40,000 but the game does differ.

Today I got my hands on Warhammer Mark of Chaos and I plan to play it later on tonight.

I Like Watercooling. D-Tek Fuzion, MCP655, MCR220

I havent played warhammer 40k

Hmm.. I dont know if I can write a review.....

I mean I could, but I dont know if I would do it.

I'd start out getting information and taking notes, but then I'd just start playing it and play for the next couple hours......

Although....... if one day I can't connect to the internet... I'll start it up.. hehe.

This thread is a tidbit old but:

Company of Heroes is build off of the Warhammer 40k engine. Better graphics a new cover system, and the Havoc physics engine are all implemented in to modify and greatly extend the engines capabilities. It has the same basic upgrade system and strategic “take and hold” node game play.

I will whip up a full review after I get more hours into it.
