Default Can THIS run CS:S?

Ok that is my question. I already doubt it, but lets see what you guys think.

Intel 2.4ghz cpu. I'm guessing it is a northwood.
512mb of ram
radeon 9000 (ouch)

I know the radeon 9000 doesn't even support DX 9. LOL its just a DX8 card in disguise.

E2140 @ 375 x 8 = 3.0ghz
2x1 ocz system 1337s pc2-6400 5-5-5-15 @ 450mhz

eVGA 7600GT Stock
120 gig seagate
ULTRA X-Finity 600w
Sonata 2 w/ top fan

Or you can go to this thread , go to the website. CSS is not a listed game but in the game selection drop-down, select "Half-Life 2 - PC" ... it is the same engine.

is the card a PCI 9000? if your stuck on PCI then go for a nvidia 6200. dont get the TC version, but the plain vanilla 6200. theyre pretty cheap these days and has more performance than the 9000. but first i would try the game with the 9000. if it plays and theyre happy, then save your $ for a new pc.

just FYI i can play CSS with my laptop's Xpress 200m. everything low though. :P

i know a guy who knows a guy that has some source tweaks for ultimate frames/sec although its kinda hard to change back, but it runs way smoother, even with a crappy video card
