Default Beefy Systems Review (A Counter Strike Source Machine)...

Being the geeks that we are, we became curious as to what those office workers in Counter Strike Source are running in their rigs. With pistol in hand (as any good tech always carries around) and the print screen key nestled under our trigger finger, HardwareLogic has the inside scoop!

thats an awesome article! i enjoyed reading it. When i shot the thing, i thought it was an AMD too but you told me alot more info.

That was friggin brilliant! Is all that stuff really in those rebadged Dell 8400s, or was that p-shopped?
Maybe I should go fire off a couple rounds on them and see.

They are all there! It's all legit! Shoot off the heatsink and just TRY and look for the processor. It's either a new technology :P or Valve got lazy.

HJahhaha, that was awsome that day when we were shooting all the parts out and identifying them, while the other team kept pwning us! :D

None of the pics have been altered in any way. The amount of details is pretty impressive. And on a side note, that's no rebadged Dell - it's an AMD based rig. Click the image to open in full size.

I wish you were around yesterday, I could've used some backup at one point. I hopped onto an empty server to snag a few pics, when someone else joined and proceeded to get headshot after headshot. After telling him what I was doing, it didn't appear to matter, so I took a break from snagging pics and took him out for about five or six rounds straight. :D
