AREA-51 won't load?

My son also bought this game for me.I put the first disc in the tray,it runs,gets to the user agreement,I agree ,then it is interupted before start of installation.
I can't run it in compat mode before installing it? Can I install it in compat mode for XP somehow?

I don't think there is any way of setting up the compatibility mode during the install

Probably something to do with Vista 64bit

Well huh. I wonder if there is a way while the disc is in the tray,to do something.I can see all the folders on disc 1,while in the tray.I just don't know anything beyond that.

Try launching the installer as an administrator... so far, that's been the best fix for me whenever a program just doesn't want to load right.

Tried that and no go.Tried changing to XP and win98 and no go.

Well in that case, I would imagine there is something wrong with the install disc/discs

Actually,I get an error stating the incorrect OS etc...it's strange that it wont load though.Oh well,I have tried a few different things but nothing works.Looks like a good game too

Thats what I'm thinking too.LOL....FarCry loads and plays fine,and some older games as well.No biggy.I'm gonna sell a few games and hopefully make enough to get COD4.
