Default Almost done with F.E.A.R.

I've been playing FEAR for what seems like quite a while now, (because I can't get to it all the time), but I think I'm almost at the end. I got to the part where the fat guy has been injured by Wade, and I had to get the power back to that big door. That was interesting, because I thought I had it, and then come to find out I needed to move that platform out of the way of that power node first.

I think I killed Fettel, but TBH, that part actually seemed a little anti-climatic to me. I need to look at it again, maybe back track a little bit, but I think there's not too much more to it.

I think I may actually play through it again, I enjoyed it that much, plus I can maybe catch some parts of the story I might have missed while just trying to get through it the first time. Some of the dialouge (especially from the mission commander) is a little on the quiet side - or maybe I'm just deaf, LOL - so I think I missed some stuff.

I think the visuals are the best I've seen in any game I've played, and the effects are awesome. And the plus side is that my system can actually handle all of it, despite my video card getting as high as 65°C while playing. It's a great game.

If it's not fixed, then don't broke it!

Try Prey, the graphics are simply amazing. Your system should handle that too. :)

If there is a final hour, let's hope for a higher power. One by one, and two by two, I have ammo, what about you?

Fear is great! One off the best fps imho, and fear combat absolutely kicks ass for something which is free. I know allot off peeps here are cs:s players, but if anyone is ever up for some fear combat pm me :D

Sometimes I just start up fear load a hard savegame and put the difficulty on maximum.... hit the console for all ammo/god mode and just get those dual handguns and start blasting ai characters. Absolutely love the slow mo effects seeing all those bullets rip em to pieces.

Btw, 65c for a 7800gt isn't hawt at all imho

Prey is a cool game, but the game has too many puzzles. I couldn't figure a part out so I just quit.

It wasn't intended for 11th graders I guess.
Too sad because this game only becomes better and better as you go further. A bit like F.E.A.R.. Another great game of the moment (while not being of the same genre) is FlatOut 2. It's been a while since they produced such a game in my opinion. The coding is A++ too, while it is a graphicly very interesting game it doesn't take a "monster" computer to play it.
