Well, it is a TEC, so it's bound to have at least decent performance.

Does the good outweigh the bad?

sometimes, depends on alot of other factors.....case size, air flow, layout and wiring, overclocking, etc.

The Chilltec takes up a lot of room, something that will probably cause a lot of problems with larger chipset coolers found on newer motherboards.

That thing is colossal. Review I just read says its not much better then the TT V-1, and this monster costs...150? If I were spending that much, I'd go water.

I'd have to agree. If you're already throwing down 150 bones, you might as well build your own single loop W/C setup. Here's a good guide if you're interested.

Current Work In Progress:
Intel E2220
Gigabyte P35-DS3L
AC Freezer 7 Pro
2GB Crucial Ballistix DDR2-800
EVGA 8800GT 512MB

Seagate 250GB SATA
WD Raptor 74GB SATA
Samsung S203B DVD+R
Silverstone SF60 Modular 600w
Antec Nine Hundred
Acer 2216Wbd 22" LCD

Yes, the dam thing is huge. I'm going to be using the Antec 900 case, me likes good air flow.

I'm not going to use liquid cooling, as the rads only cool to ambient room temps. I can do that on regular air. And I don't feel like hooking an old frig compressor and evap up to cool the rig.
