Default Thermaltake V1 Oooo Shiny

Shiny new cooler from Thermaltake. Says to be on par or better than the Typhoon. Won't be out for a month or two.

aha complete with cheap plastic 775 locking pins just kidding

That cooler looks great.. can't wait to review or see a review of it

Someone needs to find a better method of locking these things down because those plastic clips release too easy on the larger coolers

Thanks HL and Corsair!

Actually, you can't blame anyone other than INTEL for the mounting system.....and regardless what any company does, not everyone is going to be happy.....you have the plastic clips, or you remove the motherboard.......for 99% of all users, the plastic clips are fine as they will not be assembling/disassembling their systems all the time

Waiting to see if it's going to really be on par or better than the Big Typhoon. Oh and as silent, too. :)

Doesn't look like it will weigh much. What size is that fan? A 4 heatpipe cooler is going to outperform the Big Typhoon with 6 heatpipes?! I can't wait, thanks for the preview!!!

Looks like a 120mm to me though it is hard to judge from the angle of the picture.
I like the design though, very sexy.

Hmmm, very interesting design for sure! Is this going to be a mid-range to entry-level CPU cooler or something that will enter in at the high-performance end with a hefty price tag?

Actually I've never had an issue with the clips coming out until I wanted it to. The s478 mount is a PIA though.

Sleek looking cooler TTPete, looks like I know what I'll be getting with my C2D build
