Default Thermaltake DuOrb CPU Cooler Review

Click the image to open in full size.

Thermaltake needs no introduction for enthusiasts that have been around the block. They have proven themselves to be an effective leader in the industry with many offerings including cases, liquid and air cooling, power supplies and more. We previously took a look at Thermaltake's DuOrb VGA Cooler. They offer a similar product for enthusiasts looking to chill their CPU. This dual fan cooler comes with a different look compared to much of the latest top tier coolers that sport a tall heatsink and vertically mounted fan. This DuOrb for the CPU looks to be much like the VGA offering with wider coverage but a lower profile. The main question is, can this DuOrb keep up with the top tier coolers on the market?

Wow, I'm surprised that thing actually performs well! Thanks for the review Matt.

I don't know how to put this, but, I'm kind of a big deal.

Really? With two blooming heatsinks both actively cooled, I'd have been shocked if it churned out ho-hum results.

It just doesn't look like it has much surface area and I expected the worst (ho-hum results). I'm glad I was proven wrong though!
