| Swiftech releases H20-120 Compact Quote: |
Who ever dreamed that high performance water-cooling would one day become simple? We did.
| Quote: When we designed the patent pending Apogee™ Drive, we invented a way of combining two of our existing components: the Apogee water-block and the MCP350 pump. But why stop there? It occurred to us that by also combining the radiator and reservoir, we could further simplify the traditional four-component loop into a revolutionary two-component, high performance Liquid Cooling System that would be incredibly easy to install. So we added a reservoir to the existing Quiet Power MCR120 radiator, and Voilą! Now we can proudly say: "Watercooling has never been this easy!" | http://www.swiftnets.com/products/H20-120-COMPACT.asp
This new product looks like a great alternative to those out there who are lazy and don't want to do all the work for a full system or those who are not ready to take the big leap from air to water. Unlike most other systems that are similar to this, Swiftech opted to use quality components that can be found in it's own entity and not integrated into a system (such as the pump, block, and radiator). It looks extremely easy to install and bleeding fast and simple.
I found some numbers from (reliable anonymous source):
CPU - QX6850 @ 3333 Mhz 1.35v
full load on all cores - 57/59/59/57
CPU - QX6850 @ 3666 Mhz 1.45v
full load on all cores - 61/63/62/63
Judging from these numbers, I am very impressed with this system. I certainly didn't expect a compact system such as this to get temps that good. The H20-120 is obviously not targeting enthusiasts who are already into w/c but instead, is an alternative to those who buy premade systems (koolance, cm aquagate). I Like Watercooling.
