Default Scythe water//air cooler.

Heyz, just incase you haven't seen this thing before, this is the scythe knight cooler. It kinda reminds me of the aquagate. Anyone have any more info on this thing and how well it cools? It looks pretty dang sweet if you ask me.

I does have some similarities to the Aquagate in the concept but it really isn't anything like it. The aquagate was meant to be an easy water cooling unit for people who don't know how to setup one themselves.

I probably wouldn't bother spending any money on this. If I wanted air I would spend my money on a decent cooler and improve on the overall air flow of the case. A good cooler doesn't make up for bad airflow. If I was going to water cool, I would buy the parts myself from various venders and not a kit from swiftech, zalman, exos, etc.

I find it interesting as they're putting out fairly decent products for rather cheap. It's a good initiation to water cooling without the difficulties normally encountered.

Here's a review if your interested:

It appears that it does put out some good temps and I'm actually not suprised. It's made by scythe who has had success with almost every cooler they've ever made. I wouldn't mind having one but right now im looking at a small watercooling system for my matx rig.
