| I've never liked how the CPU fan on my XP-120 was located so closely to my exhaust fan. It seemed like either: the CPU fan would suck air away from the exhaust fan, thereby recycling hot air or; the exhaust fan would recude the amount of airflow in the CPU fan, thereby reducing efficiency. This is a before picture: ![]() Either way, those two fans being so close would at least cause turbulence that would reduce the efficiency of both fans. In the interest of maximized cooling efficiency I have acted to resolve this. What I decided to do was to move the tooless fan bracket from the inside of the case to the outside. I then had to cut the power wires, run them through one of the watercooling ports, and splice them back together. The result was a decrease in the CPU idle temperature by 2C. Not too bad a result for 5 minutes work! ![]() ![]() P5K-E wifi/ E8400 @ 4.0 / Scythe Ninja Copper / 2GB Hyper-X DDR2-800 / 7800GT / Antec 1200 / Corsair HX-520 P5W DH Deluxe wifi/ E7200 @ 4.0 / 2GB Ballistix DDR2-800 / 7600GT (passive) / P180B / Seasonic SS-550HT / Zalman Reserator V2 Optiplex 755 / E2180 / 4GB DDR2 / 160GB HD / ATI HD 2400 Dual-ISP Network aim: drewandnotu | Skype: drew-and-not-u ![]() |

| Well thats different... Good job. Glad to see all worked out for you. You might want to try cutting out the grill. They look a bit restrictive , cutting down airflow. ![]() I Like Watercooling. D-Tek Fuzion, MCP655, MCR220 |

| Looks well planned out now. Did you put a fan grill on that external 120?
