| Apparently some genius (and I use that term VERY loosely) thought it was ok to use some of my computer components as if they were toys. So now I have a useless Zalman 9500 CPU cooler and a scrap video card (which I'll get to in another post). What I need to know is what would the best cooler be that will fit my Maximus Formula motherboard? |

| Colonel Calamity | there is a pretty good number of decent coolers out there, check out some of the reviews we have done recently and pick the one that suits you... I myself love this Tt Big Typhoon... ![]() Thanks HL and Corsair! My opinions are my own and not representative of this site or its members. |

| +2 for the Big Typhoon ... I've used a bunch ... the Gemini 2 is a little better ... but not for the size and hassle. Thermaltake CL-P0114 120mm CPU Cooler Free shipping right now __________________________________________________ _____ This one is very nice and cheap if you only want a moderate overclock ... good deal for the money. Uses "Direct Touch" heat pipes and does so nicely ... I have used it on several overclocks and it was close to the Typhoon for performance ... just a few degrees off. Super easy Mounting.
