Default My pump failed...

Bad news... my pump failed. It was working fine, up until now. Even after I installed the aftermarket Petra's Top. But then I go to turn my PC on today, and I almost fry my CPU, because it isn't pumping. There was no warning at all. I'm at a loss trying to figure out how it failed.

I've already emailed Swiftech's Tech Support, so I'll see how it goes. I guess I should have know after RAID's when bad.

It's a very sad day for me.

-Nate

Well, it half worked... I tapped it with a screwdriver a bit, and the pump came back from the dead for 10min.... then died again. And no amount of tapping could revive it.

But thank you anyways, Rich!

OK, seems I was at fault... there was a tiny bit of air in the pump, causing it st struggle. I smacked the pump (not tapped it) and a few air bubbles came out. Pump's runnin' like a dream now.

Moral: Bleed your loop of air REALLY well before confacting customer service.

I transfered my system from my old Lian Li PC-7B case to my new tech station.
