Default Motherboard run hotter than cpu?

I recently built a pc but the motherboard seem to run hotter than cpu. I have a p5w dh motherboard in an thermaltake 8003 case. It run about 47C in room temperature. The cpu run at 33C. I wonder if it normal?

Yes, that's normal. Running the same, or cooler, than your processor is normal too, it varies from system to system. For example, the board in my sig is currently running at 35C and the processor at 50C. The rig this system replaced, an Asus A8N32-SLI / 4400+ X2 combo, the motherboard ran about 10C hotter than the processor, settling in the 40s.

And generally speaking, motherboards that utilize heatpipes for their chipset cooling tend to run a bit on the hot side.

Thank for the help, while i was reading some posts most of the cpu temperature are higher than their system temperature. That why i was wondering if there is something wrong with my system.
