Default Low profile

I am in need of a low profile cpu heatsink/fan for my htpc. My freezer 64 pro is crapping out on me. It has some grinding coming from it, I think a bearing is going out. The 64 barely fits in the case so it needs to be shorter than that. Does anyone have any suggestions? It is an am2 board. Any help as always is appreciated.

I think the fan will bump into my ram. Foxconn put the ram too close to the cpu.
I had less than 1mm clearance between the ram and the 64 pro fan. It will be going on this board Foxconn C51XEM2AA Motherboard Review

Spray some of that in the bearings see if the sound goes away, just a thought.

The nice thing about the Ninja Mini is you can put the fan on any side of the cooler (or try to run it passively with no fan). I bet if you moved your RAM to the two black slots and put the fan on one of the other three sides of the cooler, it would all play nice...

I have all of the slots full of ram, 3gb's both running dual channel. but I could pull the 1 gb sticks out, because I dont think they are helping me out anyway.
Thanks blake!
Thanks hitman, but I already tried putting some lube in it and I think the bearings are just worn out. Its been a good cooler, but I think its time to send it to the retirement bin.

one idea is once you get a replacement, send the cooler itself to Rich for the holiday builds as I suspect he will have a fan that he can use for the cooler

Thanks HL and Corsair!
