Default Help me identify this please

It is some kind of block I got from Rich with some assorted W/C parts.

Can anyone tell me exactly what kind of block it is? It weighs about 2 pounds i think LOL.

Not sure, but it looks to be a Danger Den graphics card cooler.

You could go to Danger Den's web site and take a look at there coolers and see I guess.

Nothing they currently have, looks like this monster. I was pretty sure it was a GPU block too, but it is so heavy, it would pull the card out of the slot LOL!

Dangerden GPU block, or chipset, your choice

another possibility is that the danger den holding plate may end up working with another companys heatsink of this type which is not surprising since many of them have the same spacing

Thanks HL and Corsair!

Default I guess

I guess because of the way it mounts that it has to be a GPU block. I just can't imagine how a card in todays cases, oriented the way they are, could hold up to the weight of this thing. I have one of the maze4 gpu blocks and this is about 3 times it's size. So probably something I'll use for a science experiment/demonstration. Thanks All!

Chipset blocks have both the metal parts sticking up towards the cpu. As you said GPU blocks are larger. I think its a chipset block.
