| I'm wrapping up a few last parts for my first water cooling project. I'm curious if anyone has used these fittings with a Thermochill radiator. Frozen Cpu offers them in their drop list of fittings, but Sidewinder gives a warning? Here's the LINK I'm actually trying to get my 3/8 ID by 5/8 OD compression fittings to fit onto my Thermo's. | ||||||||||||||

| i've never used those fittings but from what i can tell from the warning, the lip on it makes the o-ring ineffective if you plan to use it for your thermochill. use some thread tape and you should be okay. | ||||||||||||||

| The Final Word
| I'd always recommend using teflon tape with any kind of watertight fitting.....removes most any chance of leaking. INTEL QX9650 ASUS Maximus Extreme 4GB DDR3-1600 Sapphire HD 3870X2 Danger Den Torture Rack (Custom W/C) Seagate 750GB HDD BFG ES 800W PSU | ||||||||||||||

| Thanks guys. I think I'm going to go with these g3/8 to g1/4 reducer bushings with sealing washers from McMaster instead. But for the life of me I can't find the sealing washers used. The bushings don't seem to come with them. ![]() | ||||||||||||||

| Get these EK fittings, they are made for the Thermochill rads: Petra's Tech Shop I used these in my build, and they work perfectly with the TC rads... no adapters and no leaks either. | Thanks again, I called and spoke w/ McMaster and ended up getting some bushings that'll let me use the compression fittings. I'll post some picts here shortly. | ||||||||||||||

| i've personally found the rubber washers that they sell at home depot / lowe's work great at getting a good seal. plus they don't have to be the perfect size as they can stretch. you should be able to find them where they sell faucet parts | ||||||||||||||
