| Modder-ator | I doubt it's anything spectacular. If you compare the three heatpipe direct touch heatsink to other similar style tower heatsinks with similar surface area and a traditional base, there isn't much of a difference. I suspect that would hold true with this little guy. Compared to some other three heatpipe low profile coolers, it's probably going to be roughly about the same. Which means that quad core cooling performance is probably just barely acceptable for stock speeds but not something I would call "good", let alone good enough for overclocking. Just not enough surface area... Last edited by gvblake22; May 23rd, 2008 at 13:25. |

| Yeah ... I suspect so ... but would expect it to be better than stock. Looking into a slim profile case with a quad. | Modder-ator | Well, if that's the case, then yeah, I might get excited about this cooler. Its probably going to appeal to a fairly small (no pun intended) segment of the market. |

| oh noes | That's a real nice looking heatsink... wonder exactly which cpu's it'll be boxed with though. Hopefully if I read the rest of the article at work I'll find out. ![]() e8500@4ghz|Asus P5k-e WiFi| 4gb OCZ ReaperX|2x 3870's|1.3tb storage space|MSI tv tuner. |

| oh noes | Yeah, that's what it looks like. I like the use of the vapor chamber... seems to provide a really good balance of weight and size. ![]() e8500@4ghz|Asus P5k-e WiFi| 4gb OCZ ReaperX|2x 3870's|1.3tb storage space|MSI tv tuner. |

| I ended up picking up a stock Quad Core Copper base heatsink and using it on an E2180 with a slight overclock of 2.3ghz in a slim case. The quad core with copper is twice the quality of the stock E2180 heatsink. Put it into a slim tower with an enlobal 80mm quiet case fan ... with a Gig of Ram XP Pro and a DVDRW a multi card reader and an EVGA 7100 Matx ... as a gift build. It came out cool and quiet ... actually a nice slim build. | Modder-ator | That case is just like the Antec Minuet 300! That's what I used to build a modest little gaming system in for my girlfriend. Good little case, very sturdy. |
