Default Danger Den Torture Rack

So I ordered one, couldn't resist. I am going back to WCing. Last night I ordered the Torture rack, the new TDX for multi-core processors, a Black Ice GTX240 < supposed to be bad ass/. Since it takes 10 days for the torture rack to come, I still need to order my pump which will be a Swiftech MCP355(DDC12v), tubing which is going to be Tygon 3603, 2 Delta Tri-blade fans, worm drive hose clamps etc. ONE thing I cannot find is a decent res, it needs to be small and mountable to the torture Rack. The Swiftech MicroRes is nice but I can't find it in stock....

Any tips or experience with the torture rack?

How about a small res?

Petra's has the Micro res in stock HERE.

Which TDX block did you order? There newest one is the MC-TDX block.
Although, there are better CPU blocks out there, the best performer to date is the D-Tec FuZion, and next up is the EK Supreme. But the TDX is more free flowing than the other's.

That rad is an OK rad, but it's definitely not the best (I say this based on experience). My recommendation would be a Thermochill or Swiftech rad.
Thermochills are the best on the market but Swiftech's are next in line with a cheaper price. DangerDen doesn't make the best rads, but the one you ordered should be just fine for a small loop.

Delta's?????? DELTA"S?????!?!?!?!? Dude, I couldn't live with one of those in my rig....... lol.

Can't wait for a build log!!!!

See my friend parker I am old school. Delta tri-blade fans are the way to go, they produce more air pressure than regular fans. Granted I ordered Low speed ones because even a medium speed breaks your ear drums. The CPU block I ordered is the MC-TDX. This loop is solely for my CPU. I had the old TDX and it rocked. When the parts start flowing in I will start taking pictures etc.

Lol, sounds good.
I'm not saying delta's are bad, Delta's are some of the only fans with high static pressure and great CFM, I just wouldn't be able to stand those fans if they were right next to me in the build.

This is how I describe Delta fans:

( ">" = greater than )

hearing a Delta for 5 minutes > having a girl yell in your ear for half an hour.

For a CPU only loop, you'll be running cool and fine.

Loud? I've got 4 ThermalTake fans with 112 CFM and a rating of 53 decibals running full blast in a RAIDMAX case, just two more and I bet I can get this baby to levitate.

Okay, I ordered the MicroRes from Petras. I also ordered, 9 feet of Tygon 3603, a Swiftech MCP 355 pump, 2 Delta tri-blade 120x25mm low speed fans and coolbreeze worm drive hose clamps. My Torture Rack has shipped, and everything should be here by Wednesday.....

I think it should yield great temps only cooling a Quad Core Xeon...

When I get enough money I might buy a second rad and cool my GPU...
