Default CPU & VGA

Well seeing as how my temps are going down really anymore than 2* or 3* from 51*, i figure i should go ahead and get me a nice cpu and vga cooler. The only thing troublesome is finding a good cooler that fits not only in a small case but also on a mATX board.

I began my search first for coolers with big fans (ie >100mm) only to realize that everything was HUGE, and i very much doubted whether these would even fit in my case or around my components. So then i started looking at just customer reviews, but alas those never really help and i couldnt really make out what size board or case they had.

So with my limited knowledge on anything cooling, I have come to this grand place for answers . . . what i really need is something that will fit total height of about 150mm and then like a diameter of whatever the mm size of the standard INTEL cpu cooler is.

Additionally I'm looking for a vga cooler, kinda a secondary thing but still mulling around in my head.

Is the case mATX also or just the mobo?

VF-900 for Videocard as YH mentioned. I have one sitting here that I want to sell off. PM me if you are interested. It's practically brand new.

This isn't for everyone but it's compact and will give you mad cooling. Look up H20-120 Compact at Swiftech

Maybe a Zalman 9500? I don't know if that will fit in the case............

The water cooling setup that Ty menitioned won't make any difference as far as portability, I don't think. You'll just heard some sloshing.

I think you'd be surprised at what you can fit. A Zalman CNPS9500 would most likely fit, so would a Thermalright Ultra 90, Coolink U8-92, Arctic Cooling Freezer 7.

As for GPU heatsinks, I would look into the Thermaltake TMG ND1 or Zalman VF900Cu as they don't stick up too high from the card. But I bet an Arctic Cooling Accerlero S1, Thermalright V2, or Thermalright HR-03 would still fit in your case because they fit in my case that only has an 80mm exhaust fan.

Let me know if you are interested in either the HR-03 or Accelero S1, we might be able to work something out

Thats the problem, all i see from review sites are full ATX boards used, then of course they chuck it all inside a large case. I was looking at the Thermaltake Max Orb, but i dont really know if it will fit. I guess my problem is finding something to fit my odd needs

Take a ruler and measure the inside height of your case from the top of the CPU socket, that will give you a good idea of what coolers you can't use.

I doubt you would hear any sloshing. It's suppose to be air tight.

Well, there you go. Perfect setup.

EDIT: the price might be a little high, though.
