Both the Zalman CNPS9700 and the ZeroTHERM Nirvana are very good coolers, and both will cool "about" the same.

4GB DDR3-1600
Sapphire HD 3870X2
Danger Den Tower-26 (Custom W/C)

Either, both are great. Neither should interfere with the RAM either.

hmm

just checked th eprice for both

Zalman CNPS9700LED = $40.00
Zerotherm Nirvavan 120 = $76.00

Is the price difference worth buying Zerotherm ?

I hope that the cooler will fit easily on the Gigabyte MOtherboard

No, it's not worth paying almost double for the Nirvana. Price dictates your choice in this circumstance: Zalman FTW.

The 9700 will easily fit the motherboard. More of a concern is will your case be able to have the side panel put on with the 9700 in there? What case are you using?

Q6600@ 3.2GHz w/ CNPS9700 | EVGA 780i | 2Gb Corsair DDR2-800 | EVGA GTX 280 1Gb Video | 1x WD 640Gb HDD, 2x Seagate 400Gb HDD, 1x250Gb WD | 2x Samsung SH-203B Opticals | Antec 900 | ABS/Tagan BZ700 700W PSU
