| I was just wondering if you could put the fan under fins on an SI120 cuz the dang thing is 9 cm tall. Which means i would have to take out my vent and find a new way to cool my ram. I kind of want it under the fins so i get more space to put a fan ontop of the ram. Also, this brings me to another question, could i put two fans on the SI120? one on each side? :P E2140 @ 375 x 8 = 3.0ghz 2x1 ocz system 1337s pc2-6400 5-5-5-15 @ 450mhz gigabyte P35 S3L eVGA 7600GT Stock 120 gig seagate ULTRA X-Finity 600w Sonata 2 w/ top fan G5 Lazer Mouse |

| You can. I've seen it done before. ![]() I Like Watercooling. D-Tek Fuzion, MCP655, MCR220 |

| It will be a push and pull sandwich configuration. Two exact fans, one on top and one on the bottom. The top will blow down on the fins, the bottom one will suck the air through and blow it on the base. I don't see there to be too much purpose... If the fans are low rpm/cfm you'll see slightly better temperatures. On higher performance fans, the difference will be minute. ![]() I Like Watercooling. D-Tek Fuzion, MCP655, MCR220 |

| Modder-ator | I doubt having two fans on there will really increase performance much (if at all). Although experimenting with different fan configurations like you were saying is not a bad idea. I'm not sure if it will fit actually, you might need to find a 15mm thick fan to get it underneath the fins. |

| ionno, i just need a better cooling solution, cuz during this hot weather, my computer can't run at 2700mhz anymore. =P E2140 @ 375 x 8 = 3.0ghz 2x1 ocz system 1337s pc2-6400 5-5-5-15 @ 450mhz gigabyte P35 S3L eVGA 7600GT Stock 120 gig seagate ULTRA X-Finity 600w Sonata 2 w/ top fan G5 Lazer Mouse |

| i'm starting to doubt it is my cpu. It never really went above 38c on load... I underclocked it a bit, back down to 2250mhz with much less voltage adn it still wouldn't load windows properly. I have a feeling it is my ram, cuz my hipset voltage was also only 1.6v. Only my ram was still stuck on 3.2, however, i had a fan blowing down on it, so i'm actaully quite puzzled right now. | yeah i'm prolly right, i put all my fans on full blast, which is freaking hella loud but it works... i need new ram for the low noise level i need.
