Hi there, do you know how to settle 8800GTS SLI on atleast 38*c? It usually hits 64*c. I've Reserator 2 + Thermaltake AquaBay reservoir + EK 8800GTS Waterblocks. I know I'm not suppose to put aluminun and copper together and I learned it hard way. I'm throwing away Reserator 2 and want to get a setup which would run with these EK 8800GTS Acetal waterblock to cool them down. Any idea and suggestion or have you achieved this temp? Here's my current setup ================================================== ===== ABIT IN9 32X MAX MotherBoard /\/\/ Intel E6600 2.4GHz Processor /\/\/ 2 x Kingston 1GB 800 DDR2 RAM /\/\/ 3 x Seagate 750GB 7200RPM SATA Hard Drive /\/\/ 2 x HP LightScribe Dual Layer DVDRW /\/\/ 2 x NVidia GeForce 8800GTS (SLi) Videocard /\/\/ CreativeLabs X-FI Fidel1ty XtremePro SoundCard Cooled By: Zalman Reserator 2 ==> Eheim 1250 Pump ==> Zalman ZM-WB3 GOLD ==> ThermalTake AquaBay M3 Reservoir ==> 2 x EK WaterBlocks 8800GTS Accetel blocks ==> ThermalTake TMG2 Radiator <<<Pentosin G12> Powered By: BFG 1000W PSU In: Gigabyte 3D Aurora GZ-FSCA1-ANB Case

| DangerDen makes blocks for the GTS and GTX. They are currently upgrading their server and won't be back up til early afternoon Pacific Time. But try www.dangerden.com later, or even tomorrow, to check out what they have. | Modder-ator | Wait, first off, are you really throwing the reserator away? If so, then I might take it! ![]() But anyway, I'm not a watercooling guru, but I think you would probably get better performance by getting a bigger/better radiator and fans than you would waterblocks, especially if the ones you already have are decent. If this watercooling system is cooling your processor and two video cards, you might want to look into at least a dual 120mm fan radiator. |

Are you putting a processor in the loop as well? Do you have noise concerns? A dual MCR-220 or even a triple would serve the role very well. Fans.. it's up to you but the MCR does well with low cfm fans. If you want to spend more money, look at the PA120.2. It's got more cooling potential but it's more than double theprice of the MCR. You'll need a pump too... ![]() I Like Watercooling. D-Tek Fuzion, MCP655, MCR220

I've ordered Thermochill PA120.3 and Lian Li V-2100BW case. Which CPU (LGA775) waterblock should I use with EK 8800GTS waterblock. What about Koolance RP-1000 reservoir with pump, any suggestion (though I've got Ehiem 1048 pump) Last edited by shunail; March 28th, 2007 at 09:41.

The Laing D5 (Swiftech MCP655) is probably the more popular pumps but I'm not sure if it's really necessary in your system. The Dtek Fuzion is probably the best waterblock right now. It doesn't require alot of flow to cool well. That or the Apogee GT. ![]() I Like Watercooling. D-Tek Fuzion, MCP655, MCR220
