Default Arctic Cooling Roundup

Quote:
Arctic Cooling has long been known as a manufacturer of quiet cooling products for PCs. Today we have the opportunity to check out some of their latest fans, as well as their super quiet Alpine 7 CPU cooler. We'll be looking for effective cooling, as well as an exceptionally quiet experience. In its current configuration, outfitted with standard fans and a Zalman CPU cooler, our test system is far from loud, but it is definitely noticeable. Lets see if Arctic Cooling can make it silent!

Those L series fans are pretty nifty. Do you think the 120mm 12L would fit on a Thermalright Ultra-120?

I think it would take a bit of finagaling (and possibly a bit of drilling, but I think you definitely could make it work.

That would be clockwise. :P

Is there an error in the temp graph? 69.5 at full load for stock speed with the Intel cooler and less when overclocked?

Great review, those fans look pretty nifty.

What about the temp though, is that an error or it really gets that hot at stock? :S

I've got three of those 90mm Arctic Cooling AF8 fans in my case. Awesome fans, quiet as hell, and really do a great job cooling my rig. The fans in my OCZ PSU are louder than the AF8's I use. =)

I have the 64 pro for the heatsink and it works wonderfully and silently. I do alot of gaming. Under everest for 2 hrs my cpu temp never got over 40 degrees.
