Default Arctic Cooling Accelero X2 VGA Cooler Review

Quote:
Arctic Cooling knows a thing or two about cooling, be it CPUs or GPUs, Arctic Cooling has carved themselves quite a niche in the silent cooling department. However, don't mistakenly think that "silent" sacrifices performance, as thats not the case. The Arctic Cooling Silencer Series of GPU coolers was in my opinion the finest air cooled solution on the market for video cards. Today, HardwareLogic takes a look at the next generation of GPU cooling from Arctic Cooling, the Accelero X2 for ATI X1800 and X1900 Series video cards. The Accelero X2 looks to uphold the tradition of high quality GPU cooling solutions.

You said you had problems trying to remove the cooler once it was installed with the memory thermal pads... Try using fishing line or dental floss to cut through the pads and then maybe it will come off easier. Just a suggestion...
Thanks for the review though, Arctic Cooling is always coming out with great, new coolers

It baffles me why they designed it to exhaust the hot air onto the MB. I know on the stock cooler when running a benchmark, the air coming out the back of the case would reach temps of like 70C!
