Would like to know what kind of fan would fit in the lower front area of the case between the hard drive cage and the front grid I have 3 drive in that lower chamber and it seems that a 25mm would be to thick any idea??

I would think any 120mm fan would fit.

The case comes with a plastic 120mm fan holder situated between the power supply and middle divider, and not on the opposite side right behind the hard drives. If you've moved the fan to the other side of the divider, any fan you put in there is going to run the risk of interfering with the three hard drive's cabling.

25mm is pretty much the standard width for 120mm case fans....

Here's a list of some fans: Newegg.com - Buy Computer Parts, PC Components, Laptop Computers, Digital Cameras and more!

I can't put a fan there unfortunately my PSU is too long I was thinking between the grid and the drive chambre , basically right below the middle fan!!

I think a 20 0r 15mm could fit they don't mention anything in the manual

There are a couple of tricks to put a fan in front of the HD cage. You can dremel out the small box that is there, just taking out the bottom is enough to let you get the fan in. You can also put a 92mm fan in ther as it is.

The fan in the middle is a serious design flaw that many of us have asked Antec to fix.

How many HDs are in your lower bay and what PSU are you using?

Where you been Ed?

I have never seen a P180 in RL, so I don't know, but why can't you turn the fan around so it blows air on the HDs?

You could, but his PSU is interfering with having the fan mounted on the left side of the divider. I ran into this same issue with the P182 and ended up moving the fan (and hard drives) to the middle of the case, above the bottom chamber.

AHSO, well sounds like he has to do the same thing or buy a different case. You would think that Antec would put a fan in the front that blows over the HDs.

Looking at this picture, it looks like he has plenty of room to split them up.

I think a 120 could fit but there's those black tabs from the front plactic grid that are sticking out, so like you said a 92 or 80 would fit I don't think I would need to shave or cut anything, are you talking about those rails at the bottom? the way mine is design is that there's a frame between the cage and the grid so a 20 or 15( deep) might work!!!
