| Help!, im building for a mate and i have this question. Though i know an 8800 GT can fit inside a thermaltake lanbox, would it be cool enough to run effectively i.e. i can use riva tuner to lower the fan speed to make it quieter: Heres the lanbox and 8800gt product pages. | Yes, it'll fit fine. But I wouldn't run the fan at a lower speed than it already is. If it was me, I'd raise the fan speed to 80%, that'll give good enough temps for me to be comfortable playing games.... But 50% would be fine. ![]() | ||||||||||||||

| hmm because im thinking of getting the akimbo version because i thought it would move more air yet at a lower speed but that costs more :( lol ![]() Project Luxray: 1st August... | ||||||||||||||

If you want to get an aftermarket cooler, I'd suggest the DuOrb. Last edited by Parker; May 10th, 2008 at 15:59. | |||||||||||||||

| I believe Bokranator is in the UK anyways... so he can't use Petra's or Newegg. ![]() | ||||||||||||||
