Default Zalman VF-700 ALCU temp

Does 48C load and about 37C idle sound about right for a stock 6600GT with a Zalman VF-700 Aluminum and Copper Cooler?

Load achieved with 10 minutes of rthdribl. Idle temp achieved by system idling for 10 minutes.

Btw. This is with AS5. Extremely thin application. One of my best applications if I could say so myself. :)

I've never cared for the Zalman coolers....but yes, those temps are good.

Wow, those are some great temperatures! I got ~50º idle and ~65º-70º load with that Zalman on a 6800GT. Still have yet to put it on my 6600GT. I'll let you know when I do though.
Congrats on the temps, it must have all been in the AS5 application

I prefer the NV silencers because they vent the hot air out the back - espcially on the DFI boards where the chipset sits directly beneath the GFX card.

The NV silencers are cheaper (at my local store anyways) but personally, I prefer the Zalman because of its compatibility.

I think i am going to O/C my card a bit now that i have cooling down.
