| I would choose the 7900GT. it is faster than the 1800XL, in synthetic benches allmost as fast as the 1900XTX (in FEAR surpassing it). read here: http://www.hothardware.com/viewarticle.aspx with a little voltmod and OC you can reach up to 800Mhz on the core and 1700Mhz on the memory, surpassing the 7900GTX : http://forums.guru3d.com/showthread.php?threadid=176625 BTW: where did you find it for 250CDN ? the XT has 512MB of ram so flashing if possible, than only with modified bios Main rig: Chieftec modded case,MSI P4N Diamond, D830@3.48Ghz,1.4V,928FSB 2GB patriot Extreme Performance 6400@900Mhz, 4-4-4-17 Inno3D 7900GT@542Mhz/1.6Ghz, Thermalright SI-97 Samsung 320GB, Maxtor 250GB; Antec 500W Swiftech NB, Asus StarIceBlue CPU cooler; XP Pro Laptop: Dell XPS 1530 (T7500; 3GB 667 RAM; 160GB 7200rpm HDD; 8600GT; Vista 32bit) my 6800LE mod |

| X1800XL OC very nice. My first X1800XL, on air, clocked to 675/1400. With a Pentium D 920 it scored 9201 3Dmarks in 05. http://service.futuremark.com/compare?3dm05=1544992 ![]() I would buy the X1800XL over a 7900GT for IQ alone. Just my opinion.
