Default What is an unhealthy temp for videocards?

Title says it all. What is an unhealthy temperature for GPUs in general and more specifically the 6600gt.



E2140 @ 375 x 8 = 3.0ghz
2x1 ocz system 1337s pc2-6400 5-5-5-15 @ 450mhz
gigabyte P35 S3L
eVGA 7600GT Stock
120 gig seagate
ULTRA X-Finity 600w
Sonata 2 w/ top fan
G5 Lazer Mouse

Anything higher than 70C is pushing the limits.

I generally like to keep my card below 60C. My 6600GT right now is loading at around 53.

I would agree. Mine seems to run warm with the Zalman VF700-AlCu (up to 70ºC load)... Maybe I need to reseat it or something PDT_Armataz_25

aight. mine runs around 53 at load as well but its in a warm room.

my OC'd 6800 GT is 29 at idle and 41 at load :)
