Here's the breakdown from worst (left) to best (right) 7600GS : 7600GT : 7900GS : 7900GT : 7950GT : 8800GTS : 8800GTX I know I missed a few in there, but for simple purposes that a kindof how the current nVidia video card lineup looks. On the AMD ATI side, it looks like this... X1600 : X1650 : X1900GT : X1950 GT : X1950Pro : X1900XT : X1900XTX : X1950XTX Again, there are a few models here and there I didn't specify just to keep things somewhat simple. As for your original post, the 7900GS is a great card, much better than an X1650 of any kind as well as a 7600GT. The 7900GS is about on par with an X1950GT with the X1950Pro just barely ahead. | |

| T-Rex | No, 7900GS wins the battle here. It goes out like this in the GeForce 7 series, from best to worst: 7950 GX2 7950 GT 7900 GX2 7900 GTX 7900 GTO 7900 GT 7900 GS 7800 GTX 7800 GT 7800 GS 7600 GT 7600 GS 7300 GT 7300 GS 7300 LE 7100 GS Edit: Beaten to it. Damn you Blake! *shakes fist* |
