| Yes, sometimes people actually don't use microsoft products. These are links to the 3D drivers for video cards. 2D only drivers don't count. Feel free to contribute. | One should note however, most people have had only limited success with the ATI drivers... I have had none over 3 different distros... |

| Have no fear. With MEPIS linux, installing the drivers is as easy as going into the control panel, and waiting for the update bar to fill up, then hit install, and reboot! Then the drivers are installed. Hi, Lead Head showed me the site, I thought it had lots of potential and so I joined. I use an obscure but cool OS called BeOS, and I hate microsoft and IE. | Maybe i'll try it out on one of my spare rigs. Is it better than most of the other distros? I'd like to know the Pros and the Cons before I spend my time. ![]() I Like Watercooling. D-Tek Fuzion, MCP655, MCR220 |

| socket 939 junkie | well right now im running it off the cd i burnt this very moment. all i have to say just from using it a little bit is its FAST even though its running off the cd i burnt. it recognised all my hardware right from the get go. the only real drivers i need are for my 7800gt, im really impressed with it! :D Q6600 @ 3.6ghz (400x9 @ 1.408v) Gigabyte X38-DQ6 2x2GB G-Skill DDR2 1000 @ DDR2 1066 5-5-5-15 2T 2.1v Visiontek HD4870 Seagate 7200.11 500GB 32MB Cache HDD Razer Barracuda AC1 Silverstone DA750 Samsung Dual Layer DVD Burner Lian Li G70WB Thermochill PA120.3|Swiftech Storm Rev.2|Swiftech MCP 655 |
