| Colonel Calamity | remember, the quadro line is for commercial 3D applications and CAD type usage. Not for gaming so the way they are build is completely different than the consumer line of video cards. ![]() Thanks HL and Corsair! | T-Rex | Not so much. They're usually the same cores as the mainstream parts with sometimes more memory AND a different hardware ID. All the CAD optimizations are driver related. You can fiddle with NVstrap (via RivaTuner) to enable Quadro features for mainstream parts. They works as well when enabled (they can't always be enabled though) as their Quadro counterparts for a fraction of the cost. |
