Default ps3 reality synthesizer vs the gt 7800?????

i'm just curious to know if anyone has any informtion on this topic at all. The console's best graphix card versus the comp's latest card. Which one is better? I heard the ps3's card is pretty high tech shyt and it kicked xbox 360's card by a long stretch.

do you have any links where i can read on it?

I don't think there is much out that can beat a 7800 GTX 512mb SLI setup. Maybe compete with it....

well i dun think there is much taht can beat the ps3. I mean i saw the xbox 360 and played it for a bit. THe graphixs were just incompareable. And teh ps3's card makes the xbox card look like junk. rofl

Have you ever played Need For Speed: Most Wanted or FEAR on a 7800GTX SLI Setup?

It looks much nicer and outperforms any console system by miles. Capper has a 7800 GTX setup... i'd like to hear his opinion.

alright, my bad. The 7800 gtx and the RSX (PS3) is based off the same technology; nVidea g70. The gtx is concidered the little brother to the RSX. But they are pretty much neck and neck with eachother. An SLI set up would be expensive but outperform teh RSX. However, concidering that teh RSX is not out yet, the new computer graphix cards in teh near future should easily outperform the RSX.

Yea. thats what i was thinking. Sony doesn't have the capabilities to create a GPU able to compete with the 7800GTX without help from ATI or nvidia.

I understood it, the RSX is basically half of a G71. I'll try and find some linkage...
