| im buying a new PC soon, and am looking at EVGA 8800's, just wondering if you buy one of the KO ACS3 Editons, do you have to moniter the temperatures and stuff like if you had overclocked it yourself? | The Final Word | You should always monitor you temps, especially if you are overclocking. I always advise against overclocking video cards, they are extremely sensitive, and those overclocked cards are already pushed to their safest limit. you'll also see little gain from overclocking a video card, and cards that high quality (8800 Series especially) your brain can't even tell the difference between 60FPS and 64 FPS INTEL QX9650 ASUS P5E3 Premium 4GB DDR3-1600 Sapphire HD 3870X2 Danger Den Tower-26 (Custom W/C) 5 x Seagate 250GB HDD in RAID5 BFG ES 800W PSU |
