Default Omega's back.... again

OmegaDrivers.net - Home of the ATI & NVIDIA Omega Drivers. Home

Well he died, came back, died again, came back again, died again.... See the cycle? :P

The difference is not only is he back, he's doing nVidia drivers again. Plus the site has a new layout. So if you like tweaked drivers, go and get them!

What do the tweaked drivers do better than the original drivers?

Original drivers are usually catered to synthetic benchmarks. Tweaked drivers are typically tweaked for real world performance and sometimes offer custom resolutions and other stuff you wouldn't normally get with stock drivers.

The way I see it, they work better, they're free, so why not?

Omega tends to have excellent drivers that take out legacy crap and unneded lines of code and also add some nice extras... heres a readme list of things for the ATI+XP based cards

Also very user friendly even for OCing, unlike the official drivers

Would U suggest using these instead of ATI's stuff on my x1950?

I'd be more than willing if it would ditch the crap that is Catalyst Control Center

Wow, that site got a major overhaul! Looks good, but I don't see any Vista 64-bit drivers, only 32-bit. Am I missing something?
