Default Omega Drivers are Back!

I was just surfing the net, lonely, and naked. Then I checked out omegadrivers.net to see if they were still dead, and as it turned out, omega's back! As some of you know, the updates started skipping a few, then suddenly he just kinda fell of the face of the world in September. Well he finally got off his game addiction and started working on the drivers again

OmegaDrivers.net - Home of the Omega Drivers for ATI & NVIDIA desktop/laptop cards. By: Omegadrive

Still no word for nVidia, but the ATi Omega's are back in action, so go download them...... NOW!

(And yes, I realize that he updated them on the 14th, but I figured most people like me stopped checking the site b/c we thought he quit updating them)

He barely speaks English.

Ok back on topic. So some Mexican kid that makes drivers for video cards is back online. So what makes his drivers so special?

The purpose of the Omega Drivers is to provide gamers with an alternate set of drivers, ones that have more options and features than the original sets. The drivers contain optimizations, extra features (like OC capabilities), more resolutions and internal tweaks that can give them the edge in a gaming environment over the normal drivers, which are often tailored for synthetic benchmarks.
THIS is why he is excited.

indeed. I usually a notice 2-4 FPS improvement in general, sometimes as much as 6 FPS in a few games. And now omega is back! Which doesn't help with my 9600XT, but it may help others.

OOOOOOHHHHH 2-4 FPS. Forgive me if this doesn't excite me. If it was 20 FPS I might be interested but it's not even double digits. The human eye can't even notice such a small change.

I'm interested. My average FPS is like 30FPS. That can help me.

2-4FPS can be the difference between a game being playable, and unplayable.
