| I'm Diggin it! | Check it out here and here. Who woulda thunk it? In thinking about this, I came up with this one postulation. I think, and this is just me here, the surprisingly soft sales of Vista may have had something to do with this announcement coming when it does. Since the masses are not ...er...massing around Vista yet, nVidia is leaning forward in the foxhole here and letting the world know that AGP is fine for DX10/Vista when they do decide to upgrade. Should take a little bit of the wind out of Mac's PC/Mac commercials sails.(Nice pun huh?) | Colonel Calamity | I think the makers know that there is still a market for AGP out there as there are still s775 boards with AGP...I suspect this may be the last or second to last AGP release of a major video card. What i don;t get is one story says release for around $100 and the other says Euro 100...so which is it? ![]() ![]() Thanks HL and Corsair! | socket 939 junkie | were looking at a price range of $100-$150 iirc. good to see that some of these people with older yet still capable systems are gonna be able to get some DX10 luv'in when it becomes more widespread |

| Silence..Or I kill you! | Hell yea, I still have a machine that is running a MSI K7N2 Delta 2 Platinum and a XP3200 Barton 400 fsb that has AGP. I run a XFX 6600gt card and it still kicks some serious a$$!!!! I would be very inclined to go out and spend $150 or so for a DX10 card for that machine. |

| Functional Alcoholic | It's the same thing. If something cost $100 in the US it will cost €100 in Europe. The Euro is worth more then the dollar so it actually cost more in Europe. |

| Heck, my current AGP card cost more than a C note, an upgrade that's cheaper is always a good thing! ____________________________ _= AMD 2700+ OC'd to 3200 =_ -=1GB RAM, ATI 9600XT 512MB=- -------------------------------- |

1 EUR = 1.3176 USD, if something cost 1 USD that's only .76 EUR, if that same thing costs 1 EUR that's 1.31 USD. ![]() Intel Core 2 Duo E6420 Conroe @ 2.80GHz Cooler Master GeminII - Thanks Rich and HL!
