Thats just madness. Quad SLI? Can you beleive how much that is going to cost? I can only see the rich, the mad, and reviewers like Capper having setups like that.

omg. Quad SLI. Thats insane. next thing will be quad core computers. This is gonna be one hell of a year. =)

EDIT: imagine the amount of power you'll need. 1000 watt would be standard and think about the price. Be hella expensive.

I don't think there is quad core computers but there is dual core dual cpu setups.

Actually, you are right; just not this year. "Multi-core" processors are going to be Intel and AMD's next-gen processor in 2007 (at least intel for sure).

Yeah. I can imagine it. like i said. For enthusiats. They will all need 1000 watts of power. Think about the heat emitted from 4 cores. LOL

Its very possible that the power requirement of all kinds of hardware will increase in the next few years. But it is also very possible that something may be discovered/made that will allow processors of higher speed/performance to run with lower power.

Whenever they release a new line of processors, they make sure that the power requirements and heat emissions are reasonable or not.

They didn't do that for Preshott though.

well. Yeah they will try to correct heat emissions and what not but in general. Bye-bye 500 watt PSUs. They will be history soon, unless the GPU power supplies do well.

Quesiton: are there 2 gige ram sticks? (2 + 2 = 4 giges of ram)
