That's just pages of ati cards. How much was the x850? If you don't care about SM3, it's still a pretty powerful card. I play Oblivion with fairly high settings at 1580x1050 and still get about 50-60fps on average

P5K-E / E8400 @ 4.0 / Scythe Ninja Copper / 2GB Hyper-X DDR2-800 / 7800GT / Antec 1200 / Corsair HX-520
P5W DH Deluxe / E7200 @ 3.8 / 2GB Ballistix DDR2-800 / 7600GT (passive) / P180B / Seasonic SS-550HT / Zalman Reserator V2

Optiplex 755 / E2180 / 4GB DDR2 / 160GB HD / ATI HD 2400

Cheapest I saw was $150.00 for an open box X850 Crossfire. Not much of a deal. =/
You can get an open box X1800GTO for that price.

A good price for a nice card. But at this point, I have a hard time recommending any ATI video card prior to the X1k series cards with PixelShader 3 and Avivo...

Where? Can't see it. :?
Nice deal, but like Blake said it's hard to recommend a card older than X1k. =/
AVIVO rocks btw!

i have to agree with everyone else's opinions so far. the x850xt is an old card. I'd stay away from it but it IS powerful.

Well heck guys, thanks for all of the opinons
I really haven't had that many ATI cards, and man, it has been along time since having one.
The reason that I was asking, I have a customer that wants an upgrade on a video card, but only wants to spend up to a $150.00. I do see that the link is no longer any good
Newegg must of only had one in stock, and sold it today.
I do agree that all of the 1k cards are probably a much better choice, and I will try to find some thing good within his price range.
I have tried to get him to go with an Nvidia card, as I know much more about there cards, and they don't update the drivers every month, but he seems to be hesitant on switching.
