ive heard the X1800XT ever so slightly outperforms the X1900GT. not enough to be noticeable in anything other than benchmarks, but thats something for you to think on.

You popped his bubble and took away all his thunder. Whats wrong with you?

Never the less, the card is still blazing fast. Make sure you leave one of your windows open in your room.

X1900 has 3 times the ROP pixel shaders as x1800. That is why I went from X1800crossfire 1024mb to a X1900XTX. X1800XT is also a very good card, as I've owned 3 of them. Either way you make out well. I haven't seen any benchmarks of X1900GT yet. Anyway, I'll be looking forward to seeing your results from the upgrade! And be sure to show us some benchmarks!

LMAO, he said leave the window open. X1900 when gaming generates a rediculous amount of heat, no joke. It's such a powerfull GPU it's not even funny. All gamess\benchmarks look incredable.

and they will only get more powerful and generate more heat until they use 65nm architecture. Then teh cycle starts again until its 45nm and etc.
