Default How to find out my GPU temperature?

I have heard there is a way of finding out this info buy right clicking, then going to properties, then advanced. If I right click (On the desktop) I get an option for Nvidia, I click that then go advanced but have no temperature reading. I am not sure whether this is because I am using Vista and the method is different depending on OS, or its coz I have no sensor on my GPU.

Does anybody know of any software that can be used to get a reading or a way to get a reading using Vista?

nTune
or
Rivatuner

The stock drivers nor anything included in Windows will let you view the GPU temps. You need 3rd party software, like nTune or Rivatuner.

Rivertuner is the winner!

Actually went for nTune in the end. It works a treat. Thanx.

tbh, you may want to go back and try rivatuner. nTune is the buggiest pos available, many people have issues about it. also if you're just looking to monitor GPU temp, can try PC Wizard, it monitors all your temps (HD/CPU/GPU/MB)

i use everest and i know there is a free version but i'm not sure if it shows all your temps. either way, i would highly recommend downloading everest anyways. even though the free version doesn't show all the info, its still a great program that gives you a ton of info and benchmarks.

I use ATITool for GPU temps. Seems to be fairly reliable and it's lightweight, free and compatible with both ATI and Nvidia cards. Sits in your tray too.

If there is a final hour, let's hope for a higher power. One by one, and two by two, I have ammo, what about you?

nTunes, buggy. Your not lying. I left my computer on all night to do a 3 hour fine tune and returned to my computer to find that the 3 hour count down had reached zero, but nothing else had happened. Also when 1st activating the tuning program, a dialog box stating nVidia 2 or higher cards are supported. After clicking ok, the same box re-appears. I click ok again, then it appears to start tuning. APPEARS. It does BLEEP all!

EDIT: Everest's features look hardcore. *Loves tinkering* I will be getting it for sure!

I was *cough* given *choke, cough* - excuse me - a copy of Everest, and I use it all the time to monitor temps. It shows CPU, Video, Board, chipset and HDD temps.

I also use the NVidia Control Panel to monitor video card temps. It seems to agree pretty much with Everest and nTune. I used to use nTune a lot, but not so much these days. But the other things that have been mentioned work too.

If it's not fixed, then don't broke it!
