RV670 should fix that bug which would make a 512bit bus an unnessesary price increase. (costs more for a 512bit bus compared to a 256bit due to increased complexity) also since the RV670 is on the 55nm process, amd/ati should be able to ratchet up clock speeds to negate any percieved performance loss due to a 256bit bus.
