Yeah, the 8800 Ultra launched a little while ago, but this is just Gigabyte's press release for their version (Which seems to look just like the reference version).

Ya, the 8800 Ultra was released on Tuesday the 2nd. BFG sells 25 water cooled of those babies too, which look even more impressive if you ask me.

No big deal, the 8800 Ultra is nothing more than a GTX overclocked.

Yeah, I know. If you look at BFG 8800GTX OC2 offering, you'll see specs almost matching the Ultra for $600.00 instead of a grand...
Furthermore, the core clock is higher on the OC2 than the Ultra.

See. It's nothing more than scam
It's only for those who want the absolute best, no corners cut.

Well, technically, the 8800 Ultra is the fastest desktop gaming card available; no if's, and's or but's about it. That's why nVidia can say it is worth almost $900, because there is nothing out there that can compete with it (yet). But do I think it is worth that much, heck no!

I'm just waiting for the release of the 8950gx2, lets just hope its better than the 7950gx2, or that weird x1950 pro dual from Sapphire. having said all that theres no games that use DX10, so I'm gonna wait until Crysis comes out till i buy anythin. regarding the 8800 ultra, it will sell coz rich people will happily pay that uch for the BEST in the market, which is what that is at the moment, i just hope DAAMIT can release something better
