| Modder-ator | Capper is right, you definitely want to take it slow! I think the best way to overclock a video card is to slowly increase the memory speed about 5MHz or so at a time and fully test the temperatures and for stability with each change. Once you find your max stable memory speed, then lower it back to stock and do the same with the core. When you have the highest stable speed for both, then try both the speeds together and fully test that out and go from there. RTHDRIBL works good for stressing your GPU in Windows so you can monitor your temps real time. Usually takes at least 15-30 minutes to get the GPU to it's hottest, so don't rush the temperature testing! |

| We take both criticism and positive comments very positively | I'd recommend Cool bits, its a small registry hack, and with it you can select "Find optimized frequencies", and it will do everything for you. it won't give you the absolute best OC possible, but it will give you a good stable OC INTEL QX9650 // Gigabyte EP45 Extreme // 8GB PC2-8500 // BFG GTX260 MaxCore // DD Torture Rack // Seagate 750GB HDD // OCZ Vendetta // PC Power & Cooling 620W PSU |
