| I don't see pixel pipelines listed in DX10 cards specs. Has the pixel pipeline disappeared or is there something new? |

| Modder-ator | The newer cards seem to be reducing the number pixel pipelines for ROP's (Render Output Unit). See HERE for the ROP specification for the 8600 and 8500 cards. I don't know the actual specifics of the arcitechture (try reading about all this "unified" stuff with nVIdia's 8 series cards), but that's what I've gathered about it all so far. |
