| No, the drivers are separate just like the OSes. | Yep, when you installed the first OS, it either had the drivers in it's DB files, or you installed it separately. Same with the second OS, it already had it or you had to install them. If you update, delete, rename, or install a driver let's say in XP (2nd boot OS), it won't affect the 1st OS (Vista) at all. Two totally separate Operating Systems and their files. Can one OS see/use a file contained on the other partition? Sure it can, but you have to direct it to use that file etc. AMD Athlon 64 X2 4400+ Toledo @2211.3 MHz MS-7125 Rev 1.0 nForce4 K8N-Neo4 Plat Phoenix 6.00 PG 05/22/2006 BIOS 2 x OCZ4001024PF 1 GB PC3200/400 3-3-3-8 2T nVidia XFX GF8800GT 512 DX9c Samsung SyncMaster 930B 1 x WD800JB / 2 x WD2000JD HP DVD640 OCZ 520ADJ SLI PSU |
